Family Fun Night 2026

Summit Downtown, Inc. (SDI) is thrilled to announce the return of one of the community’s most beloved traditions: Family Fun Night (FFN) presented by Atlantic Health Overlook Medical Center!
On Thursday, June 4th from 4:00–8:00 PM, Beechwood Road and Bank Street will be transformed into a high-energy, carnival-style celebration filled with free activities, live entertainment, and plenty of fun for the whole family.
This year’s lineup includes exciting new attractions and some crowd favorites. The main stage at the top of Beechwood Road near Springfield Avenue will host a rotating schedule of family-friendly performances, including the return of Jumpin' Jamie's jolly music, the interactive magic of Mr. Magico, and everyone's favorite DJ, Mr. Socks - spinning family dance tunes throughout the evening. Eyes of the Wild also returns with their live animal show - always a huge hit with curious animal lovers!
Other activities include:
- Balloon Artists (Courtesy of Lois Schneider Realtor & Wealth Enhancement Group)
- Face painting & airbrush tattoos
- Free cotton candy from Sweet Nothings
- Free treats from Brownie Points Bakery
- A photo booth (Sponsored by Jeff Lake Camp)
- Juggling and unicycling by the always-entertaining Krazy Kevin
- Robbie the Robot and fun with Robot Revolution
- Privado hair Salon is supplying fairy hair
- Nimbus Dance Studio will be bringing arts and crafts
- The Daily Pilates will be supplying free fun surprises
- First Bank will be handing out free giveaways
In the Bank Street Parking Lot, SDI is bringing back the Red Valley Ranch Petting Zoo, along with the ever-popular NJ Bubble Parties! The Bank St lot will also include the Summit YMCA, the Connection, The Junior League of Summit, & The Summit Free Public Library with activities!
Food & Game Truck Alley on Bank Street is a must-visit, offering a delicious mix of returning favorites and new treats:
- Pretzel Boy (fresh GIANT pretzels and dips)
- Pizza Vita (a downtown Summit staple with freshly made specialty pizzas)
- Puras Paletas (a downtown Summit staple with ice pops and frozen treats)
- Anita's Baked Wonders (a Summit Farmers Market staple)
- Cereal Dreams
- Just Delicious Kettle Corn
Plus the return of the Mobile X Game Truck
All activities are free and include promotions and interactions from many of downtown Summit’s family friendly businesses.
