Participants are invited to showcase their culinary skills by creating unique and flavorful dishes that highlight the sweet and juicy flavors of strawberries, blackberries, blueberries, and other seasonal berries. While cakes, pies and muffins are allowed, judging criteria will include creativity in the use of the berries. 

This contest is open to all who love to cook, whether they are professional chefs or passionate home cooks. The only requirement is that the dish must feature the chosen berry as the main ingredient, and it must be prepared and presented with creativity and flair. 

Judges will evaluate each dish based on taste, presentation, originality, and overall appeal. After the dishes are judged, the public will be able to sample them! 

Special guest judge, author John Holl will be signing books and help to judge the contest! Check out his books, The Craft Beer Cookbook, The Craft Brewery Cookbook, Think Beer, Drink Beer and Dishing Up New Jersey, 150 Recipes from the Garden State.

DJ Mr. Socks and Heavy Metal Harry will be spinning tunes from 8am-10pm

All dishes must be turned in by 10:45am, judging starts at 11am.
